Directions for use

Why such a high dose?
Methylcobalamin is only very partially absorbed orally beyond a few micrograms. High doses are the norm for this form: you're compensating for a low yield, not a need for 1,000 µg.
Methylcobalamin or cyanocobalamin?
We chose methylcobalamin, the active form, without the cyanide radical of cyanocobalamin. It costs more by the tonne. It's on the label, spelled out in full.
Can I take it with my metformin?
Yes, during the same meal. No delay to observe between the two.
Should I have my B12 levels tested?
That's a decision for your doctor. Talk to them about the box at your next appointment, and they'll tell you whether a test is worthwhile in your situation.
And if I take a fixed combination?
