Insulin degludec is a medicine in the 'insulin (injectable antidiabetic)' category. Injectable insulin replaces or supplements the hormone that the body no longer produces in sufficient quantity, to keep blood sugar within a safe range.

Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin found mainly in products of animal origin. As a supplement, it comes in several forms, notably methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin. Oral doses on the order of 1,000 µg are commonly offered.
